>0.4.2-r1 hangs or doesn't write files #205

With about half of the CDs I try, the program either hangs at the beginning
or goes through the whole process but doesn't write any files.

It works great with 0.4.2-r1 but 0.4.4 and 0.5 exhibit this behavior on
about half the CDs I try.  They are completely undamaged, original CDs. 
I'm using Gentoo and the gtk2 interface.

Can you please give it a try with latest svn? See the [Subversion] wiki page.

I heavily suspect this one to be a duplicate of issue 221. If the workaround of
setting extra encoding threads to 0 doesn't work, please request it to be 
reopened.
