strange one... normally all you do is calling vorbisgain -a *.ogg, i have no
clue
how it can possibly skip songs..

This is exactly what rubyripper does:
"vorbisgain #{if @settings['gain'] =="track" : "\"" + filename + "\"" else "-a
\"" +
File.dirname(filename) + "\"/*.ogg" end}"
For tracks this will become:
* vorbisgain "filename"
For albums this will become:
* vorbisgain -a "dirname"/*.ogg
What happens if you disable vorbisgain in rubyripper and use the above album
command?
This should be something like:
* vorbisgain -a "/home/carnager/_Rips/vorbis/Hater/(1993) Hater"/*.ogg
