Won't Rip CD to single file #248

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

Hi there,

I'm using rubyripper 05.3-1 (gtk2), on Archlinux, and I discovered an
awful issue: if I try to rip my CDs with the option "rip CD to single
file" active then ruby crashes after a while (it disappears).

Can somebody help me please?
Thanks,

Idomeneo

simply crash.

Did you set encoding threads to 0? It should be.

I have the same Problem using Ubuntu 8.04. Everything works flawless except
"rip CD
to single CD". It still does not work when i set encoding threads to 0. RR
everytime
stops working after the CD was ripped by cdparanoia. It says "unexpected
filesize".

Should this be merged with issue 236? Torsten.Zeier, at least, seems to be
experiencing the problem I described in 236. Perhaps wam.idomeneo and
brianswebb
have a different problem; it's hard to tell without details of the crash.

I'd be happy to provide any other details or testing if it might help; for my
usage,
and the usage of many other "archive nuts" like me, this is a dealbreaker bug.
:(

They seems to be much alike indeed. Marked as duplicate to issue 236.
