old program-version in the SVN-directory #257

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. rubyripper 0.5.4 / Ubuntu 8.10
2. gtk2
3. no

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

1) What version of rubyripper are you using? On what operating system?
2) Are you using the gtk2 or the commandline interface?
3) Is the problem gone with the default settings? If so, please attach your
settings file ($HOME/.rubyripper/settings).

Please provide any additional information below.

Hallo!
I use rubyripper since Version 0.5.0.
To make it easier for me to install the program on my computers (even if I
change the version of the operating system or simply install the operating
system on a new hard disk) I wrote a install-script.
The script worked fine with Ubuntu 8.04 and rubyripper 0.5.3.
Some days ago I updated to Ubuntu 8.10 and the script didn't work.
I fixed it and now it works again.
Now I have a question concerning my fixes:
Why is in the SVN-directory still the old version?

You probably want to take a look at the [Git] wiki page. There are instructions
there
how to keep track of the latest changes. See also the link on the main page to
the
Git repository. Tip: it provides an rss-feed of all commits ;)
