ENH: a loading screen #151

Expected Behavior

A loading screen of some sort would be nice. In an ideal world something with a loading bar, but otherwise I imagine just a splash screen could do.

Right now the main issue is when switching beamlines, it's tough to distinguish a beamline loading from the gui freezing.

Current Behavior

Entire gui just freezes while devices are being loaded, and a user just has to trust that the app is working.

Context

Would be nice
