The current implementation of combo box control opens up with the combo boxes on their default (0 index) state. This could be confusing, because it could make it look as if the laser is in a different triggering state than it is.
It may be difficult to derive the state.
Another option is to set up "null" default states that will be set on the combo boxes on startup.
I think perhaps another way of solving this is just making the base rep rate and goose rate very clearly indicated on the screen, as well as simplifying the screen over all.
