Expected Behavior

Even with ladder-style attenuators, diamond should be used to protect silicon.

Current Behavior

Non-ladder (AT2L0) attenuators support this now Ladder-style attenuators (AT1K4) do not yet

The story is a bit more complicated here. There are specific tables of damage at energy/rep rate that need to be monitored. I believe this can only effectively be enforced on the PLC side with a fast fault. Will likely close this as wontfix in the nearish future once those details are made clearer.
