Start whatrecord server and only host plugin-related data
Start whatrecord frontend and it should hide all of the IOC/PV bits (or show a minimal subset of that information at best)

Context
We have no real "need" for whatrecord at the LCLS (I just think it's fun is all), nor do we have a real deployment
And the "index the facility!" dream remains a pipe dream until the memory usage of the parsed results can be brought down to something sensible. This was known to be a potential issue from the start and something I'm not likely to get around to solving appropriately
So: the plugins as noted above are all very useful on their own, even if not correlated with records
