Phases data? #17

Does anyone have any "phases" data? Presumably files ending is *-phases?

(The following is all based on assumptions)

  1. Have the Bipolar (or at least the hook) installed.
  2. log nto flow.polar.com website
  3. go to "Diary"
  4. click "ADD"
  5. select "Training target"
  6. click "PHASED"
  7. fill out the rest of the page to setup a "phased" training target.
  8. sync the training target(s) to the V800 (via FlowSync, as usual).
  9. carry out the training session.
  10. sync the training results.
  11. look for a generated *-phases file.

I'd like a copy of the such a *-phases file if you can get one (I haven't tried yet - focusing on OSX at the moment).

Ideally (assuming the route data is not somewhere sensitive for you), and I'd like all of the data files for that training session, but only the *-phases file would still be very helpful.

Thanks,

pc.

I just had a go and failed... didn't read the manual well enough :frowning:

Turns out, I either have to set the phases change to 'automatic" (can't actually see that setting in flow.polar.com, but haven't looked too hard yet), or use the light button.

Ah well, will have to try again later.

So the automatic option is in the edit window for each phase. ie its a per-phase setting, so some phases can be automatic, while others are manual. Makes sense.

Turns out the phases data is not available. This is possibly something Polar will add / enable sometime later, but as it is, I can find no way to generate any phases data. And exercises from phased-sessions show nothing special - ie no phases data, on the flow website itself.

I'll close this now. But we can reopen (or recreate) if/when the phases data ever becomes available.

Dragging out a very old thread, but is this still the case? Phases are showing up fine on the flow website, but the exported files only seem to reference laps. I was wondering if it was possible to pull phase information out of an activity with bipolar.
