Hangs on initial startup ? (linux) #73

I was just trying to run Bipolar for the first time on a current Archlinux by building with qmake && make and then running src/release/Bipolar. After the application starts it seems to hang forever in/after a Conversion step:

Is this a UI issue? Because it seems to be finished, but there is only a Close button and that will actually quit the program. :smile_cat: So I am a bit confused.

Hi @octomike

No, that's not a UI issue... its already finished.

As it says at the top "Found no new training sessions to process." The only left to do it close the dialog.

The way it works, is you now go and record some activities, then use Polar Flowsync to sync your watch to the Flow website. Then, if you run Bipolar again, it should find whatever activities Flowsync synced.

Assuming you're on OSX, did you install the Flowsync hook?

Ah I see. I had some misconception about the purpose of the program I guess.
