I just wanted to thank you for providing this. Works flawlessly with HL-1110 on manjaro.
The only way I previously could get this printer to work on arch or derivative was using some old ubuntu install script (made for 32bit arch); the printing quality was crap, and printing failed when sending too big files / colors and whatnot.
I just now discovered that my printer can print in normal quality, and isn't as crappy as I thought !
So again, thank you all for providing this. I will close this issue immediatly,
