DCP-7055W "unable to locate printer" #164

Open pjoc opened 2 years ago

Using Fedora 36, fully updated.

Printer works using the manufacturer's blob. I uninstalled that and installed brlaser. Tried configuring using KDE System Settings, and then under CUPS directly. In both cases printing a test page gives an "unable to locate printer" message.

I deleted and reconfigured again, this time using JetDirect rather than IPP. It seems to work now, touch wood.
