I just found this. I had thought the Pascal source of Lugi no longer existed online, only in a paper printout deep in a box of ancient stuff I never look at. I guess I have you to thank for the fact that this guy was actually able to try out the game, since I never finished my plan to port it to a modern system.

What you've got isn't the final version that existed at Stanford, and seems to have its whitespace messed up a bit, but it seems like it's reasonably close to complete.

Too bad nobody saved FisK in the same way. That game was probably much more worthy of preservation, and now all I see is that it's considered lost.

Hi Paul! The only thing I can take credit for is compiling the game for Windows, so that Jason could play it. It was Lars Brinkhoff (Twitter: https://twitter.com/larsbrinkhoff) who found the game on a SRI-NIC backup tape. You'll have to ask him for the details :)

The whitespace is probably just due to a tabs problem, I think the code wants four-space tabs but GitHub displays it using eight-space tabs.

In those days tabs were always 8 — the terminals often had that spacing hard-coded. Once I downloaded the file, it indented correctly. Don't know why it displayed funny.
