Use of color #8

Way to much color in the report views.

Could should be used only for the feedback on rules in the report.

Colors need to be used very carefully in any design sine it draws the user attention.

All the color in the current design is going to be confusing.

Issue has been noted and added to Jira. Would be great if you could give us an idea about what colors we should use/should not use.

Resolved: Color has been eliminated from the collapsible-tree view entirely. Some colored elements might still be visible on the other views, but that is only because we have some old code that needs to be replaced/removed, and we are working on that presently. The only color on the website is now limited to the navigation bars, and the pass/fail/manual inspection keywords that are highlighted on the summary page.

If we want to use color only for important highlights, we should consider using a neutral gray for the menus rather than a red.
