I fully support the idea of a graphic equalizer. Being as this feature is already implemented in VLC, I don't understand why it isn't already included in Lunettes as well...or was the equalizer code removed from Lunettes for some odd reason?
AFAIR, VLCKit doesn't provide the needed functionality as of yet, while libvlc does. It's just a matter of coming around to implement this.
Okay, I am not quite sure that I understand your comment. Are you saying that the reason why the official version of VLC has an equalizer is because it utilizes libvlc -- which contains the code base for the equalizer -- while the VLCKit code base that Lunettes uses does not yet contain the necessary code for the equalizer? Perhaps my lack of understanding is due to the fact that I was under the impression that both the official version of VLC, and Lunettes, both use the same code base, but with the added difference that Lunettes has a different GUI built upon it which is based on the source that is included in the "Glasses" folder.
Just to clarify VLC.app doesn't use libvlc, it uses libvlccore. VLCKit is a client of libvlc. What Felix is saying is only, there are no technical difficulties here. Which is a good news :)
