I asked my friend who is an English language guru (PhD on xii century English...) And he said that it is compound noun and usually it is written separately however some people (mostly Americans) use swearword form. If it is used as adjective it can be written with hyphen e.g. swear-word expression...
That sounds great. Do you agree to start using swear word as a noun and swear-word as an adjective? I would get on editing the README, function comments etc. to get this right.
OK with me
Is it swearword, swear-word, swear word or something else? I would like to decide which form to use so we can all stick to it. I can see that each of us uses something different.
