For each repo, every version of the IngestLDD file that led to a released version of the LDD should be archived.
For versions of the LDD that postdate the migration to GitHub, old versions of the IngestLDD file are available if you dive into GitHub's commit history. However, this is not only unwieldy, it also may be difficult to precisely determine which version of the IngestLDD file led to the desired version of the LDD.
Even worse, for versions of the LDD that predate the migration to GitHub, the relevant IngestLDD file is not available anywhere.
We already preserve old versions of the schema files (at least for some versions) in the build directory. Can we do something similar for IngestLDD files?
