I tried your changes, and I believe it fixes the issue.

On a screen with width 320px, the words "Viking Robotics Society" doesn't fit into the header.

I don't know if that will be an issue. That's a pretty small resolution. If I select all the different phone and tablet resolutions the "Viking robotics society" still fits in the header.
