I've attached a candidate logo to this comment. It's more of a starting point, really, and maybe everyone hates it, but it was fun to draw. GitHub won't let me attach the SVG, but I've got it if folks want to play with it. No idea what the best way to deliver this stuff is, so LMK.

We should probably unify the discussion of the logo between GitHub and the mailing list thread.

Should we close this issue and sort out the logo decision elsewhere?

OK, closing this and created #11 to track adding the awesome logos to the repo. My idea is that we should get all potential logos into our repo and then it will be easier for people to choose between them.
