macOS and Linux Install Instructions #6

For Debian and Debian-like distributions, it seems like the instructions are:

  1. Install rime/plum from the repo via its own docs
  2. cd into plum
  3. bash rime-install pearapple123/rime-hoisanva

I'll try and see if it works on others, but I strongly suspect it should.

We can attach instructions for Rime installation on Linux too.

  1. Follow this guide for macOS and this guide for Linux until you reach the beginning of 第二步 Step 2 (macOS) or 第三步：安裝粵語輸入法同埋相關程式 Install cantonese schema library (linux).
  2. Instead of typing the long command in the terminal, type curl -fsSL https://git.io/rime-install | bash -s -- pearapple123/rime-hoisanva custom:set:config=default,key=installed_from,value=rime-hoisanva custom:add:schema=gene. For updates, run bash plum/rime-install pearapple123/rime-hoisanva.
  3. Follow the rest of the guide for your OS.
