Status box should not more UI #2

Currently the status box or error box moves the rest of the UI down. This should not happen. Perhaps but up top.

Mark will come back to notifications in general - not considered a big issue for now.

Personally, would rather there was not a notification than have the content of the screen move. Think it is bad.
