This PR builds off of the work done by @aleklisi ( https://github.com/peburrows/goth/pull/45 ) and fixes the failing test from the previous pr.

Looks like the failing tests here are just on old, missing OTP versions. I'll clean up the test matrix and get his merged when I get a chance to confirm all the other version combinations are still green. Thanks!
