HW problem #9

I build this circuit into breadboard with ESP32 devkit. I used TXS0108E as level shifter. When i powered it without connect rx and tx pins it runs, I added it to homeasistant also I see the uart pulses from oscilloscope when I press buttons on HA dashboard. But the wifi connection drops when i connect the RX TX pins. I could not run the circuit

I tried to esp8266 also it is the same. when i switch the rx and tx pins wifi doesn't drop but it don't work

TXS0108E is not suitable for this. You need "dumb" level shifter with transistors.
