@claireyung has shown that spurious velocity magnitude depends on the minimum cavity thickness at the grounding line for her 2D case. Do you want to add those figures here Claire?

Next step could be to test how sensitive the spurious velocities in the 3D ISOMIP case are to the minimum grounding line thickness. How much can we improve things by modifying the grounding line?

This was with Boussinesq (sorry for previous typo) and with hack mode. The thickness was modified by changing the parameter MIN_THICKNESS. Velocities increased with a smaller MIN_THICKNESS.
