Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I would like to see this packaged for KaiOS, the mobile operating system for feature phones. Currently, KaiOS 2.5 is unable to connect to WhatsApp due to a client issue, while KaiOS 3.1 has never supported it. Currently millions of users are out of service because of this, which should be a priority. Thus, it would be of great benefit if there were a way to use WhatsApp web through these platforms to mitigate these issues.
Describe the solution you'd like.
I would like to see this client be ported to KaiOS (preferably both 2.5 and 3.1) to resolve the current issues. It can be packaged as a PWA and act as a proxy to the WhatsApp servers to enable access. KaiOS apps are built from HTML5 and JS, which allows any web app or PWA to be ported to KaiOS. Creating a proxy would allow users to access the web app when the client is down. Thus, this would solve the issue of outages on the platform. Is there an existing issue for this?
