In order to make peer-pad the blueprint for a offline-first application, we would need to:

[ ] use a service-worker to allow the peer-pad application to load when offline (issue)
[ ] allow js-ipfs to boot offline issue

@jimpick I think this would make a great source of teaching materials on how to make an offline-first application on top of IPFS. Would you want to pursue this?

looks like we're 1/2 there 😄

there may be some UX concerns, as well, but let's get it working first
