We could display seen/read counts for discussions/comments. So that it would be more transparent how much engagement a discussion and comments are getting. Because there might be many participants who are not active in providing other feedback (upvoting, commenting, etc.).
Especially in long comments threads this could be useful to see how many users/voters really read through comments. I think this would be useful to expose to all users so that they can get a feeling of how much participation is there. (Similar to how we expose confidence as a metric for this as well.)
