We could allow initial author to add other users to the discussion. This would allow them to edit it as well (maybe preventing for now edit conflicts, #187), but mostly it would give them attribution of being part of the prepared discussion item. So this could be useful when a body (subgroup of the community) works offline to prepare some proposal and then brings it to the whole community. One could see then who all helped with that.
For now, that could of course be also done by just mentioning all those users in the body of the discussion content, thanking them or something like that.
