Strip the mobile experience (iPhone, Android, Other handheld device) to display search only. Perhaps even a small phone app might make sense although costs matter (licensing on apple store as an example).

What is the impact?
Reduction of screen clutter, focus to more useful information, increase in ability to see what's on the screen, faster access to typical mobile optomized information such as ASN lookups for fast reference [ Conferences, over lunch, random thoughts riding the subway home, etc. ]. Potentially less reliance on desktop presentation and a push for more features around mobility.

Describe the solution you'd like
Strip down the mobile landing to a search function only. Strip down the response of a mobile search to something similarly slim.
Do you think this feature will require a formal design?
Yes it would and probably by a professional with input from heavy mobile users.
