Xmp.dc.subject saved as one element list

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run the attached script on the attached image
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
number of elements in Xmp.dc.subject should be same as number of elements in 
Iptc.Application2.Keywords. It isn't ... Xmp.dc.subject is one element list 
with the value of string with included commas

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
the latest checkout from SVN with my own patches

Please provide any additional information below.
I am not sure whether this is a real bug, I need to investigate whether it 
isn't remainder of some previous bug which corrupted my data.

Confirmed ... when are tags removed and recreated using jbrout, the output of 
the test script is still the same:

wycliff:Praha, říjen 2007 $ /tmp/fix_xmp_tag.py p20120624_222434.jpg 
xmp_tags = [u'Andulka,Praha,doma'] (1)
iptc_tags = ['Andulka', 'Praha', 'doma'] (3)
