Provide language coverage stats automatically #297

It would be very useful for me if the directory automatically provided 
language/script coverage information, similar to e.g.
* 
https://sourceforge.net/p/dejavu/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/dejavu-fonts/langcover.txt
* https://www.gnu.org/software/freefont/coverage.html
I need to automatically pick a font for many languages (downstream report: 
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5309 ) and currently I'm 
defaulting to DejaVu just because it's so much easier to get information about 
it.

Their scripts may be useful to build upon, or maybe there are others:
