As long as the license is specified somewhere (in this case in the package meta-data), the project is licensed.
I think perhaps the best way to make this fact more visible is to add the license type to the README.
I took the liberty of adding both a License section and a badge to the README
via: https://github.com/pelican-plugins/sitemap/commit/d916c902e1d6dd6c115b368dc92f10811b8dcb0c
I did the same for the Cookiecutter template, so future plugins generated from the template will include the same information: https://github.com/getpelican/cookiecutter-pelican-plugin/commit/077555db908160586762da44b8d6e0e9abfc46a7
@jorgesumle: Many thanks for taking the time to contribute to this plugin. In this case, I believe the README
file provides the clearest and cleanest place to specify the license, so I consider the mission here to be accomplished. 💫
Ups, @justinmayer! Although there is a license specified in
pyproject.toml
, the repository is unlicensed!
