We need a proper dataset to test bug fix and features in a formal manner.

We need to have two types of test in place:

unittests: for jterator modules
integrated tests: running a complete workflow on a set of test datasets, which cover different types of datasets (2D, 3D, time series, multiplexed, ...)

Ideally, we would have a Jenkins server in place, which runs all test automatically. Jenkins can be linked to Github repositories, such that test runs are triggered upon commit.

What is the progress in this regards? I think, this is the most important aspect to have a testing framework for multiple types of datasets.
