Can't fast fwd (x10) or select time (using Square button) in SHB 34 #25

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Start PMS SHB 34, play an MKV file (any).
2.Try to fast fwd faster than x1.5 (i.e: x10) - PMS crashes.
3.Alternatively - try to press square and advance in the timeline. When 
pressing X to go to the particular time point - PMS crashes.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected - being able to fast fwd or advance in time. Currently PMS crashes.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows XP SP2, SHB 34. The same steps above work flawlessly on the official 
1.50 PMS.

Please provide any additional information below.
Tried to take the mencoder from the official version 1.50 and use it in SHB 34. 
PMS Still crashes which leads me to believe its a problem with PMS itself in 
this build (last build to do this correctly was SHB 27)
