Not working on oreo #117

My device is a Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus (natrium), and I have tried on kernels 3.18.31 and 3.18.32. I have applied this patch succesfully on nougat and oreo kernels for my device. Everything works fine on nougat, but on oreo, even though the patch is successful, the android app freezes when touched and the command line utility just hangs. I can't see anything useful in logcat. SELinux is permissive.

Which command line utility are you using? I can recommend Termux ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.termux , https://f-droid.org/packages/com.termux/ ).
