Unable to download Ur-Quan Masters Star Control 2 game content from Sourceforge server in app #142

Hi, I’m experiencing a problem downloading the Star Control 2 game content in the Android port of the Ur-Quran Masters app. I had the game running on a “Sony Tablet S” tablet running Android version 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich) around 2019-2020. An issue with the tablet’s screen occurred and I threw away the tablet. Last year I purchased an identical Sony Tablet S and downloaded The Ur-Quran Masters app on it. Unfortunately, the app is unable to download the game’s content from the server on the Sourceforge website. I’m assuming the link to the data between the Android app and the server has changed. The same problem occurs on the HD remake version of the game. Thank you for your time!

I cannot update the app until the war is over, I'm in the army. It would be better if someone else will become a maintainer.

I was planning to bundle all data together with the app, the external server was only necessary when Play Store limited app size to 50 MB.

Hi Sergii, I noticed on your GitHub page that you live in Ukraine and figured you weren’t able to work on the Ur-Quan Masters project lately with the war taking place. Thank you for your reply, but your job with the war is much more important than a computer game. I do very much appreciate your work in porting The Ur-Quan Masters to Android.
