[Bug]: black screen when you go back into the game after exiting (exiting using the phone buttons "menu" or "history") #19

Version of OpenTTD

13.0.rev116 Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro Android 11

Expected result

exit and then return to the game from the history/(home screen) with normally working in game-video

Actual result

when you exit app(not delete from history) and re-enter, black screen, while the game sound works as expected and everything is clickable like always(all normal except video) P.S. fixing, disappears on its own after many times to enter the exit or mb may need to wait a long time

Steps to reproduce

  1. start New Game/Load Game
  2. exit from game but not deleting from history
  3. back to game, and see black screen

a lot of expectations, mb problem related to the sdl android port non-educated assumption

the snag happens only at the moment when in the game, not the main game menu

Same bug reproduced on Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+, Android 12.

Probably the bug is related with screen resolution. Setting resolution to 2214x1384 seems fixed the issue. Native S7+ Tab resolution is 2800x1752 px.
