This is what I was thinking by coloring the backgrounds of the candidate names above:
But I don't think it'll work – too many clashing colors. So let's try splitting them up into discrete chunks and marking them with mini party logos.
I thought about this over the weekend – another approach at the provincial & dapil levels might just to show numbers of winners by party rather than the full list of names (to keep the length of the lists manageable)
Added to dapil with commit e4ee741, will continue to tweak layout and design.
The long lists of candidates is too dense to get much information, so try separating them by party. We could do this by breaking up the list with mini party logos, or by coloring the backgrounds of the candidate names with their associated party.
