Hi StatickyCat. I checked the sound import and playback in 0.6.6 but so far it’s working fine for me, so we’ll need try and narrow the problem down a bit.
First of all, you mentioned that sound worked fine for you in the past. Do you remember when you first noticed this issue and can you think of any changes you made to your setup that might be related (such as upgrading from an earlier version of Pencil2D, upgrading Windows, any changes to your audio hardware or audio settings, etc)?
Secondly, would you mind giving our experimental nightly builds a try to see if those suffer from this issue as well (including re-importing the audio)? I’m not super optimistic about this, but we did add some fixes related to audio import/playback on Windows to those builds, so there is a small chance that your issue, too, might have been fixed already. Please do keep in mind, though, that our nightly builds are experimental and could come with other, new issues as well.
Please let us know how it goes.
Additionally, as the audio codec can make the different, would you mind sharing the mp3/wav or the entire project if possible too? in order to verify using the exact setup.
Thank you very much sir! I'll try downloading a Nightly Build and see what happens. Sorry for replying so late, but I appreciate your willingness to help.
I do believe the problem started when I did a disc cleanup on my PC.
I will find my project and files, and show you, if it still does not work.

@StatickyCat How did it go? Did you have any luck with the nightly builds?
Yes! Thank you so much! The latest nightly build, made on April 13th, solved the problem entirely. I'm also very satisfied because of the updates you made from last year's, like the frame highlighting and rising boxes when you move them. Knowing this, I'm definitely going to update my software more often.
Again, thank you for this, I'm grateful that you guys offer this stuff for free. Have a great day.

Issue Summary
When I import Audio, whether it is an MP3 or WAV, it always loads as one frame and does not play audio.
Even audio used in older animations, before I had this problem, becomes one frame and does not play audio. In short, formerly adequate sound also glitches out; not just new audio that I import.
### Actual Results The audio track showed a one-frame piece of audio. Almost no audio file can be that short, and the single frame piece is not audible, even if I crank my headphones up and scroll over the single frame. ### Expected Results I know that when you import audio, it's meant to display as an undivided horizontal bar, with the beginnings and ends representing the same perimeters for the actual audio. ### Video or Image Reference ### Steps to reproduce The audio files' origins are derived from YouTube to MP3/WAV converters. But this is not the problem, as I've used audio files that were sourced differently and they also did not work. I have tried both methods of clicking the + icon to insert a file, as well as the drop-menu at the top left of the screen, under "file". I have tried importing the audio from both the MP3 and from an MP4 version of the file, since it's from a YouTube video. ### System Information + Pencil2D Version: I'm using Version 0.6.6. I have checked for updates on the software and it says it is up to date. + Operating System: I run Pencil2D on Windows 10. + RAM Size: My Computer's RAM SIze is 4.00 GB (3.68 GB usable). I have downloaded the 64-bit variant of Pencil2D. + Graphics Tablet:
