1 year ago If using the tools on the canvas doesn’t seem to have any effect, please make sure you are on the correct layer. Drawing tools can’t be used on Camera or Sound layers. Also, please note that Pencil2D does not automatically create a new drawing when you navigate to a different frame and instead uses the most recent one on the current layer. You must either do so manually by using the “Add Frame” / “Duplicate Frame” buttons on the timeline (standard keyboard shortcuts: F7/F6) or adjust the default behaviour in Edit → Preferences → Timeline → When drawing on a an empty frame.
I will now close this issue because you didn’t fill in any of the details in our issue template which we need to properly diagnose the problem. If the above does not resolve your problem, please add the missing information and let us know so we can reopen the issue.
<Help! So first, my tools don't work. Then I go back to my other frames to see that my work that I 'drew' on the other frame had instead appeared on the last frame.
I use my eraser tool. I don't even have to erase, just click to erase the scribble.
So I save my work and log off for the day. On Friday I come back and see if the bug has gone away. If you probably guessed- It's still there. I spend an hour trying to get it to work. But It doesn't. So I log off AGAIN.
Today I log on and it still doesn't work. HELP! I need to finish my Youtube intro this month!
