Importing SVG (Inkscape) #287

I'm not sure if I'm just missing this, but can you support importing an SVG from file? I see a vector layer, but none of the options allow SVG.

Using v0.5.4dev on Windows 8.

I am not a Pencil developer but I can answer this. You did not miss anything there is no SVG import. Pencil uses a special XML format of it's own for vectors (I'm pretty sure this is because Pencil has been around long before SVG support was included in QT).

just mentioning that this was a blocking feature for me, I need the SVG import, so I cannot use pencil2d.
