Add accept terms and conditions pop-up to Vortex

Context

As we would be collecting user interaction data using google analytics and also capturing the email address of the data, this ticket is to add a pop-up to the vortex app so the user can accept the terms and conditions before interacting with the app

Requirement

• Show a pop-up before user interacts with the Vortex app
• The pop-up design and copy should be replicated from what we have on Portal

Notes

• Product will add a link to the terms and conditions for Vortex

I don't properly understand this ticket. What are the terms and conditions that apply to a blockchain product? I doubt that anyone needs to accept terms and conditions in general to use a smart contract – they work permissionlessly. Same for bridges, etc. Can you elaborate @prayagd?

There is no way for use to enforce that only people that accepted any conditions are able to use Vortex, also Vortex is permissionless.

As far as I understand we only add these terms and conditions because of the data collection due to Google Analytics + the email of the user if they want to give it to us. We wouldn't need it otherwise.

Using Nabla as reference, I think there is an element of both @TorstenStueber the Terms of the service + the privacy policy (screenshot). We probably need a similar implementation, the privacy policy content would need to cater to the GA + email aspects. In terms of implementation, we could suggest going for an implicit acceptance by the user by linking the terms and privacy policy on the page, and get agreement from legal. .
