MVP is just design - group all the to do list items in one nicely styled box with a title.

Later on if you want to make it really nice:

[ ] All items are associated with one group
[ ] Users can create new groups and assign each group a title (CREATE)
[ ] Users can add new items to a specific group (CREATE)
[ ] Users can change the title of the group (PUT)
[ ] Items are sorted by due dates with items with no dates moved to the bottom of the list.
[ ] Completed items can be viewed on by clicking some kind of "see completed" button
