After some reading startup scripts/configurations I found the magic option combination in grub to make the livecd image to boot from hdd but when it should start X it get blocked on black screen. My system is Ryzen 7 2700 with MB Asus with chipset AMD B350 and video AMD R9 380.
By booting my main OS (Slackware Linux 14 which is old and is working well for me), I saw in kernel logs of Pentoo the following backtrace:

I understand that somehow the driver may fail but I expect to start in termal if X server fails. I tried also to start it without X by modifying in inittab but didn't worked. I tried that in order to install the AMD proprietary driver, maybe that avoid getting in that crash.
Does it use upstart or a new unstable software like that? This is why I still use Slackware even if there is no newer version for a couple of years.. it is very stable!
By suport a powerful video card it may help a lot in high speed computation due to OpenCL/Cuda.
In any case I wish to know if it is possible to start this Pentoo in multiuser without X.
