This would allow for replays where p1 and p2 both start doing something. As a concrete example, this would allow p1 on replay to do an attack on p2, follow with a safe jump timing attack, and then the player could take control using p1 could attempt a DP install in the safe jump.
This allows the user to focus just on the install part and not have to also focus on getting the knockdown and safe jump correctly.
In general, this would allow training on "situations" where some kind of setup is needed from p1 to do reliably.
