Set environment variables in `.pam_environment` on Linux? #127

~/.pam_environment can be used to set environment variables for the full user session, not just the shell like when setting them in .bashrc or .zshrc.

This will e.g. help in letting VS Code find LaTeX exectables.

Is this still a problem?

I never had an issue with vscode finding the right latex version.
