A merge (29e0dcd1d1e4010a82a2ffe4bc885bca8cf6574f) undid some of my corrections. Now they are back and even stronger! ;)

Side note: c245618ef11730aee7b6e8f5e032783ecc441a1d changed Python 3.8 to 3.9 for Windows and Windows 11, but not for Linux and macOS.
