Skype is really unstable in CM7, all versions of it #255

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Skype restarts constantly
2.Skype wants reinstall
3.skype can not login or work properly

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Skype should run with no problems, or at least it was working in Eclair. 
Instead its constantly crushing, wishing reinstall or exit and not able to 
login again after that. 

What version of MiniCM you are using? On what device (x10mini, x8 - x10mini
PRO is NOT supported)?
CM7 2.0.7 on X10 Mini

What app(s) are involved in the problem?
Skype.apk from the market, especially the latest release, but also previous 
versions, which worked on Andread 2.2.9, also the moded version with video 
2.1.0.46(even with the video switched off it's crashing constantly)

Have you tried rebooting your device?

What is the adb logcat output when the problem accurs (see:
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=Logcat)

Please provide any additional information below.

I've tried many different versions of skype, none of them is working smoothly 
and properly. I know the processor does not allow video calling on this device, 
but I at least want a decent working version of skype, not a constantly logging 
out and in apk with no reason. It restarts only for staying idle. I leave it 
logged in and after a while it has logged out and is trying to reconnect with 
no success.

I can confirm that too ! But in late version of minicm 2.0.6 and minicm 2.0.7 
skype has less crashes than previous versions.

Less crashes? I even can't stand a 5 minutes online in last version of skype
with the cm7 2.0.7. nor wtih non market versions of it with added some
additional options like videocalling which doesn't work on the mini. only
the old, old version 1.0.983 works stable.
