Hi..I think this is a limitation by the android platform..therefore I don't
think this is a bug..
Also you can just temporarily rename an apk file to txt and then transfer via
bluetooth..once you have received you can rename it again and use the apk.. :)

I cannot receive any file with MiniCM7-2.0.1 and also 2.0.2! Additionally,
sending a file from PC to my X10 mini results in spuriously rebooting. Sending
a file from my X10 mini to the PC always fails, as the mobile phone says: "File
transfer failed."
There are some other issues (bugs!) with bluetooth:
1) I've got a headset from SE, called MW-600. If I take a call with that
headset using my X10 mini with MiniCM7-2.0.2, the conversational partner hears
terrible noises. However, I can hear he or she normally. Using the standard
ROM, everything seems to be okay.
2) If bluetooth is on, MiniCM7-2.0.2 sporadically reboots my phone. It's
disgusting!
HTH.

For addition:
Which apps are involved?
File Manager, which I've tried: ASTRO, ES File Explorer
Which PC-OS is involved?
Mac OS X 10.6.7
