Tell us about the feature
Handle out of disk space situations on PXC nodes deployed on Kubernetes gracefully.
Which product(s) is this request for?
Operators, PXC
Tell us about the problem
When PXC on k8s runs out of disk space it is a nightmare to recover it properly. Would be great if there was some failsafe mechanism to catch out of disk space event.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Monitoring
Additional context
Extending the disk might be tricky as it depends on the underlying infrastructure, so we might focus on something else, like blocking writes to keep PXC alive.
